Most trips I pack a sketchbook, but recently I have felt more like relaxing rather than drawing. This trip was shaping up to be another where the blank sketchbook sat in the bottom of my backpack, but then we went to see Matisse’s Chapel. It was so good I couldn’t resist the lure of a busman’s holiday.
